Halo

British component brand Halo Wheels (link is external) specialises in wheels and tyres for road, mountain, BMX and urban bikes.

Founded in 1995, Halo is owned by Cambridgeshire wholesaler Ison Distribution (link is external), itself part of a group that dates back to John Albert Townsend's first cycle shop in Cambridge in 1895 (link is external).

Branching out from its off-road roots, Halo has focussed on robust wheels and tyres for inner city mean streets with items such as Aerotrack wheels, and Twin Rail Courier tyres.

More recently the range has expanded to include carbon fibre wheels (link is external) and the traditionally-styled Retro road wheels.

Halo is the wheel supplier (link is external) to the men's and women's Velosure Starley Primal Pro Cycling Team (link is external).
