Leatt’s Jersey MTB Gravity 2.0 top is a casual-style long-sleeve riding jersey that uses premium technical fabric to regulate your body temperature and to create deep levels of comfort. As at home on the trails, as it is at a bike park, its design also makes it spot-on for smashing downhill and enduro laps. I found it wicks well whilst remaining comfortable, and the fit and styling are excellent; the price point is also a big tick.

Leatt Jersey MTB Gravity 2.0 – Technical details
The Gravity 2.0 jersey is made from Tencel fabric, which is a semi-synthetic fibre made from wood pulp. Its inherent qualities mean it wicks sweat quickly, blended in this case, with polyester and nylon to achieve a soft cotton-feel, which is lovely next to the skin.
It’s a relaxed fit jersey with ample length at the rear and enough stretch to accommodate wearing body armour underneath.

The collar is designed for use with a neck brace if you’re hitting the trails on your DH bike. But it should look just at home at your regular trails. A microfiber goggle/glasses wipe is neatly hidden underneath the side panel.
Available in sizes S to 2XL, there are Loam (striped) and black designs to choose from, and it comes in plastic-free packaging.
Leatt Jersey MTB Gravity 2.0 – Performance
The fit is excellent. The arm length is spot-on with no bunching, and the long length covered and hugged my ass, which has prevented it from riding up, making it a great option when wearing a hip pack.

I’ve enjoyed wearing the Gravity 2.0 in warmer weather for some added protection from the sun and bramble strikes. The fabric has worked hard to help maintain an even body temperature by its combo of fast-moisture wicking and decent breathability, only finding its limits when I’ve worn it out when it’s just too hot. It feels so bloody lovely next to the skin, so much so that I’d (almost) consider wearing it off the bike.

I’ve worn it on my trail bike, enduro bike, and out on the gravel, too, and it works for all. Durability has been cracking so far, especially considering my penchant for getting up close and personal with sharp and spiky things! Oh, and did I mention how comfy it is?
Leatt Jersey MTB Gravity 2.0 – Verdict
It’s always a good day when you discover a ‘new favourite’ jersey. Admittedly, I have a few, but the Leatt Gravity 2.0 is right up there.
Also known for their flamboyant designs, the DHaRCO Men’s Race Jersey, tested by Liam, scored well and is another great-looking and high-quality jersey, especially in hot weather, but it comes at a high price point of £77, which makes the Leatt jersey a good buy.
For the same price point, the Specialised Trail Long Sleeved Jersey is another good jersey that scored well. Constructed from MiniR fabric, it has a UPF50+ rating and a similar soft feel and was another great performer.
In short, I really like this jersey. It’s a great fit, wicks and breathes well, and is ridiculously comfortable. I can easily see myself wearing this throughout the year. Yes, there are lighter, fast-wicking long-sleeved jerseys out there, but are they as soft and comfy as this… answer above!
