2026 is a big year for the UK brand, Pembree. Not only has it got a completely refreshed range of componentry headed to the market, but it’s back signing some big names to its rider roster. This time, Pembree has partnered with downhill icon, Wyn Masters.

With riders such as Rob Warner representing the brand in the past, Pembree is no stranger to joining forces with weighty names, but for a relatively small company to be signing yet another icon, it’s a pretty big deal.

If you’ve got a keen eye on the downhill circuit, Wyn Masters needs no introduction, but I’ll do one anyway. Throughout his racing career, he’s frequented the sharp end of the field, scoring a win at the 2017 EWS in Rotorua, a third at the UCI Oceania Continental Championships in Toowoomba, and a second place at the Asia Pacific Enduro in Thailand. However, he’s more recently become better known for his efforts behind Wyn TV, his YouTube channel filled with trackside interviews and racing insights with pro riders.

Masters is also the man behind the Privateer Project, where, with help from a range of sponsors, he works to support privateer racers throughout the World Cup downhill calendar, while shining a light on the unique efforts and challenges that privateer racers face.

Wyn Masters will be rocking Pembree’s GCS cockpit for 2026, and like all of the brand’s products, they’re manufactured using environmentally friendly methods. That’s all done in a factory that runs entirely on renewable energy for a carbon-reduced and more efficient process.

Phil Law, Pembree’s founder, says, “Wyn Masters brings more than performance—he brings credibility, authenticity, and a voice that resonates with mountain biking at its highest level. His partnership with PEMBREE reflects a shared commitment to quality, purpose, and progression. Together, we’re strengthening the brand through genuine alignment, building trust with our community, and elevating what PEMBREE stands for on and off the trail.”

Wyn Masters adds, “Stoked to join the PEMBREE family going forward, a UK ‘for the love of it’ brand that shares similar values to me with giving back to the sport and also making more sustainable products. Together we are going to do some rad stuff, so watch this space!”
