As i said before : points missing
78 points missing !!!! What's your explanation ?
check your transfer time, probably made after the deadline
Poor Tony Martin.
What an effort you will be remembered for that as much as any World Championship.
Bug ? Or what ?
My team for stage 6 is :
Alejandro Valverde (MOV)
Gianni Meersman (OPQ)
Vicenzo Nibali (AST)
Michael Matthews (GRE)
Christopher Horner (RSN)
Tyler Farrar (GRM)
Nicolas Roche (SAX)
Kristof Vandewalle (OPQ)
Adrien Petit (COF)
And i got 45 points with ... this team which was my my team for stage 5
Alejandro Valverde
Joaquin Rodriguez
Vicenzo Nibali
Georg Preidler
Christopher Horner
Pieter Serry
Nicolas Roche
Kristof Vandewalle
Luis Leon Sanchez
Thanks to clarify
Woo got my 10k badge! That was the last badge I needed for the full set! Get in!
Now what do I aim for?
wow green arrows again for me
2,4,6,8,13
Incidentally, just checked out tomorrow's stage profile: I had 7 filed away as 'flattest of flat' but even that ends on an incline! No wonder all the proper sprinters have stayed away.
(I wonder if the parcours was secretly designed by Tyler Farrar's agent... keep the top-tier guys away so Tyler can hoover up some World Tour points)
A little better than usual today then. Still waiting for that stage win, but can't be that disappointed with 2,4,5,6,8,13 (plus Zubeldia and Nibali points). In fact, I was only a Rinaldo Nocentini away from a Full House badge.
I didn't even realise Morkov (or Mor-koo) was riding this Vuelta; a shame or I might've popped him in my Purist.
4,8,13,18 the usual gc points etc etc
2,6,8 & 13, not how I expected today to end. Never thought of Morkov as a sprinter but to be fair to him, he has got a track background.
1. MORKOV, Michael
2. RICHEZE, Maximiliano Ariel
3. CANCELLARA, Fabian
4. FARRAR, Tyler
5. FLECHA, Juan Antonio
6. MATTHEWS, Michael
7. MARTIN, Tony
8. MEERSMAN, Gianni
9. GILBERT, Philippe
10. BROWN, Graeme
11. PETIT, Adrien
12. LASCA, Francesco

OMG! Tony Martin u legend, so unlucky, pipped 10 meters from the line after leading for so long!
Hey Flecha! nice to see u do well today, after you so eagerly left my team this morning!
Nibali
Meersman
EBH
Farrar
Stybar (What are you doing still in my team, didnt see u this morning)
Matthews
Markus
Arndt
Richeze
I have had a TERRIBLE Vuelta thus far. Not just scoring badly, but trading out people who subsequently score highly.
Wrangling with a new baby at the moment so not actually been able to catch any of the racing. The results suggest it's been fairly bonkers up to now.
Rider values and budgets have little to no affect on how different everyone's teams are. Everyone knows who's sprinting at this point so everyone's picked them. If rider values were twice what they are now or the budget lower than 150 we'd all still have similar teams, just made up of less out and out sprinters.
my team which is slightly different
Alejandro Valverde
Gianni Meersman
Rigoberto Uran Uran
Barry Markus
Greg Henderson
Nicolas Roche
Tyler Farrar
Rinaldo Nocentini
Edvald Boasson Hagen
Everyone's teams look fairly similar. The restrictive points that we experienced during the tdf seems to have gone full circle and you can pick virtually anyone you want. Makes it easier to pay though...
I made one change again, hopefully Markus will be last home again! Then I'll drop him ready for Saturday. Quite enjoying having all these transfers banked - not my usual tactic but might try it again sometime!
Valverde
Farrar
Matthews
Richeze (in for Spartacus)
Ratto
Roux
Meersman
EBH
Markus
So that's 7 of yesterday's top nine, plus a few GC points for Valverde, and 4 transfers carrying over. A bad day today would totally scupper all my plans...
suddenly mollema is a sprinter? what is that boy on?
It was my fault, I dropped him and he immediately got motivated enough to go for everything.
I'm pretty sure he has half an eye on the points jersey...
Dave it might have something to do with the 1sec time bonus he got from the int sprint
Both make sense... I reckon he does want to move up, but he also did take the Points Jersey from Purito in the 2011 Vuelta with this fine sprint on the last day in Madrid:
1 Peter Sagan (Svk) Liquigas-Cannondale 2:20:59
2 Daniele Bennati (Ita) Leopard Trek
3 Alessandro Petacchi (Ita) Lampre - ISD
4 John Degenkolb (Ger) HTC-Highroad
5 Nikolas Maes (Bel) Quickstep Cycling Team
6 Pim Ligthart (Ned) Vacansoleil
7 Christopher Sutton (Aus) Sky Procycling
8 Koen De Kort (Ned) Skil - Shimano
9 Bauke Mollema (Ned) Rabobank Cycling Team
10 Vicente Reynes Mimo (Spa) Omega Pharma-Lotto
1st intermediate
1. Tony Martin
2. Tyler Farrar
3. Bauke Mollema
