Driver who left boy in road after crash sentenced. Hit n run. 14 weeks suspended sentence

Why bother sentencing them at all. It is just a waste of time if they get no punishment. A 14 weeks suspended sentence is not punishment for doing a hit and run on a 7 year old that you left in the road.
I bet i would get a more severe puishment if i took out a wing mirror in anger.

This is disgraceful. On of the just stop oil protestors got five years. And this person gets a very light sentence. There's something wrong with our justice system.
