Can a pandemic stop our wheels from rolling? Of course not! Cycle for Cransley – Kettering’s only cycling sportive – is going VIRTUAL to bring you all of the excitement of our classic event in a covid-safe way.
Thanks to our fantastic event partners C&D Cycles, we will still be sharing four exhilarating and picturesque routes through the rolling Northamptonshire countryside, some of which will start and end at the Kettering Rugby Club, others will be from alternative locations in North Northamptonshire. Or why not plan your own route from your doorstep? Last year’s BIG CYCLE saw participants joining in the fun from around the globe!
By popular demand, we’ll be bringing back the ‘Cransley Family-Fun Spin’, at a maximum of 10-miles, the ‘Cransley Cruise’ at a manageable 25-miles, the challenging ‘Fun-Filled Fifty’ (at 50-miles!) and for the elite amongst us, the thrilling ‘Cransley Fondo,’ a 63-mile (100km) extravaganza.
All cycle participants will be able to join our Cycling Club on Strava, to share their routes and to get support from the Cycle for Cransley community in the run up to the big day and virtually cheer each other on as rides are completed!
And while you’re putting in all this effort, get your friends and family to show their support! Event sponsorship ensures our hospice can continue to care. What’s more, if you raise £250 you can get your hands on our ALL NEW ‘Cycle for Cransley’ cycle jersey!
A huge THANK YOU to our headline sponsors Tollers Solicitors and KLM Taxi for making this happen.
Poor decision for Eurosport to repeatedly show the crash before knowing the outcome. Not cool.
What do we want?...
In a perfect world, we'd have a measure of how easily distracted someone is, as part of their driving test....
These products are nothing but ridiculously expensive and superfluous, and they bring nothing but bragging rights....
As a bystander in all this, it seems to me that the only person trying to win imaginary internet points in this is you....
How does Mr Lucy tell you he's a bit of an arsehole without telling you he's a bit of an arsehole?
Of course they are, and not so different. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09B662CDN?crid=34M42BETAMFT0&th=1 The bugger's got four versions up now!
At least the van driver was nowhere near the stationary cyclist.
The BMX racers are also no longer being supported. Kye Whyte said he's lost his GT sponsorship. It also looks like GT will no longer make BMX bikes.
