I've just been reading Teach Yourself Cycling, reprint of a copy from 1953, and that happily talks about fitting a sidecar to your bicycle as if it's the most natural thing in the world.
It's a heart warming article for sure.
By the way, back in the early 80s when BMX was new, there used to be BMX sidecar racing. I've seen a few of those outfits on show but never ridden one.
Great idea and lovely story. The world would be a poorer place without such individuals.
Nice, I have a friend who has MS, I'm just in the process of looking into how I can take him out for a ride. Might need a racing type variant as there are (small) hills from right outside his permanent home so we might need to navigate at speed
