Cutting congestion

So encouraging people to use bicycles in urban areas can indeed cut traffic congestion.

@Sniffer - thanks. I didn't realise he was one of 'those' politicians -  I'd expect better from his scientific background, but then Tory and Labour seem to have anti-cycling as an agenda.

Google his comments made in the Lords on this subject.  In summary he blames cyclists for congestion.
