The Wiggle County Durham Dynamo, now in it's second year, explores the hills and rolling roads of the southern-most countryside in County Durham. Reaching out to the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at its furthest point, the route takes in some excellent climbs and some even better views.
Heading out from the home of the Darlington Mowden Park RFC, we bear north almost immediately, taking in the villages of Piercebridge and Staindrop, at which point the Short route splits and heads south.
The route continues north, climbing up to Butterknowle, eventually splitting at Woodland village with great views out over Langleydale. The Epic riders continue north, riding the edge of Hamsterley Forest before descending in to Wolsingham.
As you leave the main road at Frosterley you are faced with a tough climb to the top of Hill End, with views out over Bollihope Common and the burn at the bottom on the descent. We ride south through Bollihope Common and pass by Middleton-in-Teesdale, before climbing out of the valley towards Barnard Castle. The final push back west stretches through a series of quaint English villages typical of the County Durham area.
Uhh - how glaring is 'glaring'?
Poor decision for Eurosport to repeatedly show the crash before knowing the outcome. Not cool.
What do we want?...
In a perfect world, we'd have a measure of how easily distracted someone is, as part of their driving test....
These products are nothing but ridiculously expensive and superfluous, and they bring nothing but bragging rights....
How does Mr Lucy tell you he's a bit of an arsehole without telling you he's a bit of an arsehole?
Of course they are, and not so different. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09B662CDN?crid=34M42BETAMFT0&th=1 The bugger's got four versions up now!
At least the van driver was nowhere near the stationary cyclist.
The BMX racers are also no longer being supported. Kye Whyte said he's lost his GT sponsorship. It also looks like GT will no longer make BMX bikes.
