I don't agree. It's just a free-for-all. There's no shape to the race, no "narrative", just every day you see what ridiculous surprises the course designer has thrown in. 20% ramps on a flattish stage, no wonder that no sprinters bothered turning up. According to the profiles there's a 100m cliff edge drop about 40km into Stage 8 too, perhaps they'll fit the riders with parachutes.
And this is only partly because my fantasy team is a total smoking ruin.
All this excitement is not helping my fantasy scores though. My current performance is technically called 'pants'.
At least I have not picked TJ though.
If TJ can actually walk tomorrow, let alone ride, I will be amazed.
