North Derbyshire Challenge Sportive
The North Derbyshire Challenge Sportive starts in Markeaton Park, Derby and heads up into the Peak District for some stunning scenery and memorable climbs.
With four distances on offer the routes cater for all ages and abilities ranging from 40 to 160km. We also have a KoM/QoM section which is a 1.1km timed climb on Bullhurst Lane up to the Cock Inn in Mugginton.
There are feed station on each route as well as medical and mechanical assistance and all riders will return to Markeaton Park for some hot food, drinks and a finishers medal.
Enter as a team in the Team Distance Challenge with discounts for teams of more than 4 people. The distance challenge is where teams of 10 or more ride the furthest distance in one day (eg 10 team mates riding 160km = 1600km). If there's a draw at the top, then the fastest ten times from the KoM/QoM challenge are taken into account and the fastest team will win.
