Altura and Polaris
Just want to shout a bit about the kit that is being sold by these two British companies. Out tonight in cold fog and rain with Altura Vapour jacket and Polaris Etape long sleeved jersey. Both brilliant, stayed warm and dry with nothing else between me and the weather.
Both bits of kit are amazingly good value for money. Give em a look.

A quick survey of the Altura items in the house did not turn up any claim stronger than "Designed in the UK". The two Polaris items didn't even claim that. Whereas my Lusso shorts and tights are "Manufactured in the UK". Given the relative amounts of investment and jobs required to sustain Production relative to Design I would have thought it is Lusso we should be cheering ?
Couldnt agree more. Made, designed, associated, contributing to our economy rather than that of another country. It's well designed works and is worth shouting about.
