The G-one is available in 2
The G-one is available in 2.25, much more road, meant to be very fast, a lot less “rugged” than the racing ralph. Same comfort though.

I guess they were lucky not to be shot.
Lots more of our police to get tazers soon, I suppose were fortunate there not anti cyclist or the least little bit racist either.

I understand that on tonights
I understand that on tonights Ch5 Parking Hell:At War with the Law (notice, not with the motorist?) Brum’s PC Mark “RoboCop” Hodson “has his sights set on reckless parkers clogging up cycle lanes.”
I have never driven, so do not understand some of the mentalities and do enjoy these weird parking programmes and the attitudes shown. The belief that motorists should be able to, and expect to be able to, store their huge vehicles wherever and whenever they want for free does confuse me.
Or that by putting your hazards on then it’s alright…

Sorry…

And as not one of the campy fans seem to be answering,
I have always used sachs/sram on my 7/8 and 9 speed shimano systems.
And then I have gone more towards the KMC chains on my 7/8 and single speed. They still make exceptional chains for “heritage” systems.
It might make a difference on the top end 12 speed stuff, but on 10 speed you might be able to get away with it.

I had noticed this story
I had noticed this story before. They were obviously reticent about spending so much to fix “just” a cycle.pedestrian route. Bet thet were wishing they had spent the lower amount of money now instead of the larger amount it will now cost to repair it all, especially with the huge amount of disruption not being able to use any of the road.

I did get it on the left, but I just reduced the text size a bit (ctrl -ve) and it went away. Damn my awful eyes.
Ohh, and a little one, the quick click to take you to the comments when opening a page has gone. Which I did like. Bit more scrolling required.

I’m not knocking people who
I’m not knocking people who have a PhD, most of the people I work with have them and a fair majority of those that don’t are working to get one.
When they get one, and a viva celebration is always a touching affair, they often big it up, but after a few months that tails off.
I’m trying to read a paper at the moment, review paper, big enough journal. Both incredibly qualified, I’d take a punt of at least one of them being an FRS. Both professors, proper british ones, posessors of a chair at good acedemic institutions. One the head of an institution, the other of a large group in said institute. Yet both only use their names, no letters before of after.
One of my previous PIs, prof, was a FRS, I only knew because of the mug he used at tea breaks time. Even that was subtle.

I’ve never really found
I’ve never really found knobbly mtb tyres to be particularly prone to “faults” when riding on the road.
When the knobbles are worn down, they are indeed more suseptable, no thick rubber. Time for changing and for better grip off road.
