Sorry, back to Bourton on the Water as the previously reported eureka! solution now carries a “but not everyone is happy” tab. If you look it up on Google Maps, Meadow Way is incorrectly shown as Bourton Link. Gotta say, it doesn’t look especially wide there.
It just seems ironic that the proposed new coach drop off site next to the care home is pretty much on site of the old train station

They argue that the blame lies with the outdated markings, which are too small for contemporary vehicles.Seems simple to me: make the parking spaces bigger (thus meaning there will be fewer parking spaces, since they’ll also have to be wider) and reduce the width of the carriageway.
Seems simple to me – stop using The Esplanade as a road / car park.
