Day 2 (Friday).

So far made it Heathrow to Abingdon, then next day to Corsham. Mostly good cycling except the A419 (M4) into Swindon was quite horrible. Once in Swindon, the network wasn’t too bad.

Ok, tentatively day one is cycling Heathrow to Abingdon. I’ll be staying in a houseboat on the canal.
I was just there one night in 2024, unfortunately. I had a great meal and a pint at the aptly named LoveBeer Brewery.

Undoubtedly true, but a cousin lives there (actually, I think Abingdon) and has let me crash overnight before.
I’ve been to Oxford once and enjoyed a few pubs, so I could do that again.

This news item made me think of Little Onion’s incident.

A spare Voile strap would be handy in this situation.
I wish I’d thought of that when I had the same issue on my LEJoG. Hindsight is great.
I recommend resetting that thermometer and relocating it away from the exterior metal wall of the shed. It may not be getting quite that hot.
Is it set up tubeless? I sometimes have to clear out sealant clogs.
If not, can you get air in with the valve out? It should be very easy. If you can, try replacing the core.
Do the callipers just nudge one side of the disc? That seems even worse than Avid BB5.
