Sad case of the family hit by

Sad case of the family hit by the driver filming himself speeding down the motorway. The same driver who had already been in court for driving with no insurance a few years earlier AND even with that previous, just got a warning letter for street racing a few weeks before he murdered people. 

The car he was in was “limited” at 155mph. Why are they not limited to 80mph tops? ( A little over the limit for supposed safety as drivers claim you sometimes need to be a bit faster for some reason).

Weird situation there. Both

Weird situation there. Both the adults came out from the passenger side of the vehicle but it looked like the car had cut up the van and then the van had crumped the rear drivers side door.  So had he pulled up to give a peace of his mind and caused an accident, the woman then got out in a stress because of the initial actions of the driver had caused the collision, which he then compounded by deciding to commit assault.

Then you read that they use a pedestrian crossing to go over the pavement to the house, failed to ask permission for anything and thought driving over a ped crossing was normal.

I read about that in a local news site (owned by the same people as the Mirror).  That article concluded with the householders saying that they have had to park their car several streets away and haven’t moved it since March

I’ve got a solution: there’s no reason why the junction with the adjacent Dinsdale Close needs quite such a wide corner radius. Build out the footway and they will gain an extra 5m of space where they can position the pedestrian crossing, and will also improve conditions for pedestrians in the area (e.g. walking to the station or convenience store).
