You have to feel sorry for him, he had to drive while disqualified as no one else would fly-tip his fridge

But doesn’t the headline show how little is thought of driving offences? And six months disqualification for driving while disqualified, that’ll show him!

On a more serious note, how did people cope when Westquay was being built? I’m guessing Portland Terrace was closed for a quite a while to drop the height of the road and to put the building on top

    Let me guess:

“I’ve been driving down there since 1943, ten years before I was born, and no one has stopped me before”

“It’s now going to cost me £70 more a day to drive to work”

“Freddie Star ate my hamster and it’s all because I can’t drive down Portland Terrace.”

She added: “He started threatening me, waving his walking stick. I said ‘why did you just drive off?’ He said ‘I wanted to get my newspaper’.

“I told him he had knocked into me and didn’t stop.

“He said ‘I’m old I can do what I like! There’s no damage to your car’. I said ‘but I have hurt my ankle and my arm’. He said ‘I don’t care – prove it. There are no witnesses’.”
