Indoor cycling training app Rouvy has announced an increase to its subscription prices will occur from 15th July 2025. Monthly subscriptions for single riders will increase from £12.99 to £17.99, putting it on par with Zwift.
The brand has said, however, riders can lock in the £12.99 a month pricing for 12 months if they switch to or resubscribe to an annual plan if they’re already on this option and use their 15% loyalty discount.
The new pricing structure will take effect for each user after their next billing date from 15th July onwards. But why has Rouvy raised its prices, and will it impact subscription numbers?
A 38% price increase

Best cycling training apps — get fit without getting bored
Going from £12.99 a month to £17.99 is, according to our calculations, a 38% price increase each month. In a time when the cost of living just seems to be going up and up, and it’s also summer and the temperature outside is above freezing, why has Rouvy decided to put its prices up, and more specifically, why now?
Rouvy co-founder and CEO, Petr Samek said the price increase “will help us keep improving Rouvy and delivering the great rides and experiences you love, whilst maintaining the high quality level we continually strive for.”
In other words, users should expect to see some improvements from this price rise. But what those will be remains to be seen.
Rouvy has long been a cheaper alternative to Zwift. But now? It’s £17.99 per month if you’re on a monthly, single rider subscription.
For those using a duo plan, which allows two riders to use the same subscription, this will increase to £26.99 per month. And for those on a group plan, which includes up to five accounts, will increase to £53.99 per month.
If you do run a monthly plan, though, you can pause your account for up to 180 days per year which is useful if you don’t use the app during the warmer months.
How to save on Rouvy subscription fees

Okay, so if you’re on a monthly plan it’s about to get a whole lot more expensive. But Rouvy does offer some discount on annual plans – and, if you act before 15th July, you can lock in the current annual plan fee of £129.99 before it goes up to £159.99.
For those on a duo annual plan, the price will rise to £229.99 per year, and for group plans, £449.99.
It’s not a cheap game, is this indoor training. Add in all the smart kit you might want to buy and you can easily spend upwards of £1,000.
Although if you do want a cheaper option, there is always MyWhoosh, which remains free to use (for now).
You can find out more about the upcoming price changes to Rouvy on the app’s website.

Between TNT, Rouvy and free
Between TNT, Rouvy and free time, I’m almost 50 quid a month better off and 7kg lighter. Keep it up chaps!

Um – that’s kind of how inflation works – stuff gets more expensive, and in turn that makes producing other stuff more expensive.
Thats an interesting strategy
Thats an interesting strategy, what they are saying is that Rouvy is as good as Zwift and people will pay that pricing level. Only time will tell if the customers agree.
