Hunt has introduced two new wheelsets, the 30 Carbon Dynamo Disc and the Search 29 Dynamo Disc aimed at both multi-day epics and more everyday riding. Let's go through them in turn.
Hunt 30 Carbon Dynamo Disc
The 30 Carbon Dynamo Disc wheelset (main pic, above) is designed for people who want a dynamo hub combined with a set of wind-cheating carbon rims, whether that be for ultra-distance riding, bike packing, commuting or training.
Hunt says that this wheelset has the benefits of its existing Super Dura Dynamo Disc wheelset, but in a lighter and more aero package. It's designed for both road and gravel use.

The 30 Carbon Dynamo Disc wheelset features a SON 28 front dynamo, a 4Season Disc rear hub, Hunt's tubeless 30 Carbon rims (21mm internal width, 27mm external width) and 28 spokes front and rear. The freehub has an H Ceramik coating to help prevent sprockets digging into the splines.
The wheelset, optimised for 25-45mm tubeless tyres, weighs a claimed 1,618g and is priced £1,059.

Mason X Hunt Search 29 Dynamo Disc
The Search 29 Dynamo Disc wheelset is designed for the new Mason InSearchOf long distance/multi-terrain bike – although it'll fit equally well on many others of this adventure-type ilk, of course.
Check out the new Mason InSearchOf here
The wheelset features a SON 28 front dynamo (15x110 Boost front spacing, an extra sealed and shielded 4Season Disc rear hub, Hunt's Trail Wide 29in mountain bike rims (6069 T6 aluminium alloy, shot-peened finish, 30mm internal width) and 32 triple-butted Pillar PSR spokes front and rear. The rear hub (148x12) engages superfast (5°) when you start pedalling.
Like all of Hunt's wheels, the Search 29 Dynamo Disc is designed to be used as a tubeless system. It has a claimed weight of 2,165g and a price of £549.
You can see Hunt's new wheels are the Cycle Show, NEC Birmingham, until Sunday.
