SRAM has reworked the graphics on its top-level Red groupset to match those of its new wireless eTap components.
“The new graphics feature overlapping textures and design elements in a complementary matte and gloss black finish,” says SRAM.

“Additional changes include more subtle logo placement, layering, tone on tone texture differences and a refined Red logo. The result is a more mature, confident visual language for the SRAM Red groupsets.”

Check out our SRAM Red eTap First Ride here.

We’d say that the new-look components are generally a little more understated than previously. In terms of function, they are unaltered. The same goes for weight; SRAM Red is still the lightest mechanical groupset out there.

The new design SRAM Red will be available from March so we’re guessing that the outgoing version will be available at discount prices over coming weeks.

I’d say my heel is quite neutral in it’s position so neither in or out or shake it all about. And yes, I have been fitted!
