Giant Escape 0 Disc 2021
£899.00

If you're looking for a comfortable hybrid that is still fast, then the Giant Escape 0 Disc should be on your watchlist.

The Escape 0 is one of those bikes that you could use across a wide variety of rides. As we had it set up, it is a fast and fun leisure bike that would be great for the weekend ride.

The lightweight frame offers good levels of stiffness, but it was the comfort that impressed us, with the bike offering a smooth ride that is undoubtedly aided by the space for chunky tyres and a vibration-damping carbon seatpost.

But stick a set of mudguards and a pannier rack on the Escape and you can easily use this bike through the week as a commuter workhorse. The additional length of the wheelbase helps with stability when you've loaded the bike with half a week's worth of shopping and the 1X transmission keeps things simple.

The sensible features continue with a kickstand plate and we really like the riding position that the flat bar puts you in. All in, for £899, this is a brilliant commuter and weekend hybrid bike.
