Galibier Regale Ultralight Jersey

The Galibier Regale Ultralight Jersey gets its place in recommends courtesy of being a very lightweight (the clue’s in the name) and practical jersey for warm condition.

Galibier’s goal was to produce the lightest jersey on the market while still offering sun protection (SPF30) and it uses three different gauges of polyester to achieve this.

The Regale Ultralight can be worn directly against the skin and feels comfortable in summer temperatures and when riding indoors. The stretchy fabric ensures you get a close fit and it has stayed in good shape throughout testing.

The low-cut collar is ideal for hot weather riding, and the full-length YKK zipper allows for more ventilation when needed.

Round the back, the traditional three terrace pockets are surprisingly generous and come with decent reinforcement at the base.

The Regale Ultralight does what it promises, and despite the thin fabric, it is well made and durable, with sensible amounts of inbuilt protection from the sun. It's an excellent option at this price.
