As part of our continuing quest to bring you the best news in road cycling we will, of course, be off to Friedrichshafen for the biggest and best of all the bike shows: Eurobike. Unless you’ve been it’s hard to imagine the scale of this giant show, 13 halls (one of them a Zeppelin hanger, for goodness’ sake) filled with inestimable numbers of bikes, bits, schwag and trinkets.
In such a big show it’s easy to get lost in the crowd so we’re going to make up some nice road.cc tees for the occasion. Have a click through the three designs at the top of the page and tell us which one you like best. No prizes or anything, we just value your opinion…
If you don’t like any of them, simply make your own in Microsoft Paint (or at Cafe Press) and post it in a comment, and we’ll add that to the mix too!

i like the first two designs,
i like the first two designs, (going left to right) but not so keen on the black tee-shirt of the second, not keen on the third design at all, sorry… in fact looking again the second is certainly the best by far, despite black t-shirt (or is it ‘charcoal’!)
BTW will there be some more cycling jerseys along some time? (as i missed out the first time).
cheers. 😉
The first one is too plain
The first one is too plain and it took me a while to actually see what the design was on the third one. The middle one with the three diamonds is tre snazzy in an understated argyle style.
I know I should probably know
I know I should probably know this by now but what is the whole thing behind the Argyle? :/
Oh and on the designs I think the middle one’s best.

the third one is a world map
the third one is a world map in argyle, but clearly it’s too subtle. or just too rubbish 🙂
Don’t you think the one on
Don’t you think the one on the far right is a bit close to the HSBC thing??
The middle one is best I think 🙂 but you can’t go too far wrong with any of them.
Or did you just mean, why
Or did you just mean, why argyle?
One things for sure with
One things for sure with Argyle its a guaranteed talking point.
Well it was supposed to be
Well it was supposed to be plaid more than Argyle, and when we were trying to design the original jersey we wanted to come up with something that looked a bit different without looking retro, and I said what about plaid!
Had a look and could only find one example of a plaid jersey in an online US store (hadn’t even thought about Garmin) looked for some plaid patterns – found one, experimented with colours, was almost black and white, and soo close to being powder pink, but we bottled it and went for the pale blue… we might do some different colours in the future. Strangely enough though what with Garmin I suppose there’s a fair amount of it about this year, (although it’s been a bit of a favourite in the US for ages it turns out) Sugoi have a top that is very close to what our next generation jersey was going to be – same colours and everything. Ho Hum, we’ll probably stick to the same design for the next batch cos they do look really good in the flesh… if I do say so myself 🙂
Yeah I like the middle one
Yeah I like the middle one best, as Dave says the third one is supposed to be a world made in plaid, sort of the ‘World is for riding’ … oh, hang on that’s been done hasn’t it
middle one …. rather
middle one …. rather fetching :-]
I’m for the middle one too,
I’m for the middle one too, although i quite like argyle planet. any plans to make them commercially available?

The middle or right hand side one.
Get them on sale !!!!
We need to make the most of the argyle revolution whilst it remains trendy! 😀
I’ll vote for the middle one.
I’ll vote for the middle one. But you need to use that iron on Scotch-light reflective stuff for the Road.CC bit… 😉

Never dealt with them, but looks like the sort of thing….
All three are great designs;
All three are great designs; hard to choose!
I like the Argyle theme, because it ties in with the best unknown bike brand in the world.
If you need t-shirts, talk to Steve at Stop the Press ( http://www.stop-the-press.co.uk/ ) . They do great work at great prices. Not spamming – I’m a genuinely happy customer having had some custom designs made by him earlier this year. He’s a bikie too!
Come on the road.cc
Come on the road.cc t-shirts!!! could get a set for my stag do.
I want a cap to match though.
We could do you a set Jimmy –
We could do you a set Jimmy – we’re going for the middle prob in a choice of dark chocolate brown or charcoal, Caps? Plaid naturally – we haven’t tried our hand at them yet, might be worth a go.
Brown is the colour for me!

ooh middle one definitely; first too subtle and third one the pattern doesn’t really work..how about a contrasting set of paisley R.CC underpants (just like I had when I was seven)?

I like the look of the charcoal myself in LARGE B)
Gotta be the middle one – the
Gotta be the middle one – the big bold Argyle print.
Definitely the most striking and clearest branding.
Middle is way better.
Middle is way better. Obvious, stylish and attractive.
Job done.
When I first saw these, I
When I first saw these, I liked them all but favoured the middle one – reading the comments it looks like I’m with the consensus.
The world map one is a great concept but difficult to execute – the three Argyle diamonds are perfect though (and best in charcoal, I think)
I’d also vote for the middle
I’d also vote for the middle one – but the powder pink would be a bold choice, and distinctive. It takes confidence to wear pink. 😉
: P
the three plaid diamonds
the three plaid diamonds design is the obvious winner, and if you wanted to be bold, a pink pattern on a brown tee is a nice mix
and while we’re at it can i have a pink road.cc cycling jersey to match my bike?
I think they all have their
I think they all have their merits but to keep it simple the middle one (2 diamond) is the most effective.
I like all three, but if you
I like all three, but if you put a gun to my head I’d go for the diamonds/argyle one. If you do offer them for sale please, please, please offer a range of T-shirt colours… black just doesn’t suit my colouring dahling!!
Don’t worry silvercyclist we
Don’t worry silvercyclist we will definitely offer them in a range of colours – the first batch we’re going to have made up will be in dark chocolate brown and charcoal, what sort of colour would you like?
As others have said the
As others have said the middle would be the choice. Fits in with your branding.
I’d have a tee. Black with pink logo? Match the bike – well one of them…
heh, pink. maybe next time…
heh, pink. maybe next time… Like tony said we’re going to do charcoal and dark chocolate tees first, just a small batch primarily to wear at eurobike but there’ll probably be a few left over that we’ll put up for sale, super exclusive like. the brown ones will have fluorescent cyan (!) diamonds and a white logo, the chocolate ones just the logo in a reflective silver print. both are going to look ace!
Please, please class this a
