Giant's latest UK store opens in Bromley

Latest store showcases Taiwanese manufacturers ranges

Bicycle manufacturer Giant has announced the opening of its latest UK standalone store in Bromley, South London, the Taiwan-based manufacturer’s sixth such store in the UK, joining outlets at Twickenham, Bristol, Cambridge, Liverpool and Rutland Water.

Located on Widmore Road, the store, which covers 180 square metres, showcases the Giant range of bicycles and accessories, and will be run by existing Giant dealer and owner of Ross Cycles, Ross Mutrie, who said: “We’re looking forward to continue representing Giant, with the new stores amazing environment it really promises a whole new experience combined with great product and our very enthusiastic and experienced team.”

Ian Beasant Managing Director of Giant UK added: “The business model focuses on understanding the consumer and the cycling experience to ensure the end user gets a guarantee of satisfaction from their final purchase…the location in Bromley provides the perfect brand store environment.”

As well as men’s and women’s bikes, the store also stocks clothing and accessories, has facilities for servicing bikes, a seating area complete with TV and allows potential purchasers a “try before you buy service.”

Further Giant Stores are in the pipeline in other key locations throughout the UK.
