    Hello,

I want to ask what will be the best race ready bike to buy for 2020 season. I have 6000$/5000€  to buy a complete bike. I live in Slovenia so we do not have a lot of flat terain and I really like hilly roads. My normal ride is 50-75 km with 800-1500 m of climbing so pretty hilly. I normally do 3-4 rides a week alone and 1-2 rides with group.  And I also do some racing at an amateur level.

What bike would you advice for me?

If i cross out Orbea and Focus there is still a lot of bikes to choose from. And I think that there is some other bikes on the market that I did not mention here and may be overlooked but they can also be pretty good so that is why I am asking 😀

Looks like you answered your own question. IMO the new Supersix looks pretty perfect.

    I currently ride Focus Izalco

I currently ride Focus Izalco Pro 2012. It is not mine but it is from my father. It is a few centimeters to big for me but otherwise I do not have a lot of things to complain about it. Maybe it is not as aggressive as I would like it to be.

I will go with disc brakes 100%. I was looking for the new Izalco Max 9.7 ultegra di2/force etap model, Specialized Tarmac, Cannondale Supersix, Canyon Ultimate, Cervelo R5, Orbea Orca OMX. I feel that Focus and Orbea are a little bit too heavy. And dura ace or red etap are probably out of my range.

And also I think that aero frame is not the wisest decision for me, since bikes like Tarmac, Supersix etc are pretty competitive in a group, or in attacks on hills since I am probably not a rider(330ftp at 68kg) that will be gaining time on flats.

    What is your current ride?

What is your current ride? What do you like/dislike about it? Are you looking for Di2/eTap? What bikes have you looked/ridden?
