So, out of curiosity, what did the formula suggest for the Giro, the Dauphine and the TDS? 39 ...

I do not know, as I was not running the set up for any of those.

What I can say though, is take the TdS at 140,compared to the giro at 180, there were a much greater amount of riders in the 30-40 bracket at the giro compared to TdS, also a much greater amount of 3 credit riders. Whether you see them to be valuable at there price is another matter.

My opinion is that the budget for the TdS seems about right, maybe 1 or 2 credits too low, but it may have suggested 141 or 142, in which case it would have been put at 140.

This budget sucks... What's wrong with 150 for both the Dauphine and the Tour de Suisse? Are you guys going off of a formula based on the rider field or just your own discretion?... 45 By the way, was a formula used for the Giro or the Dauphine? Or were both arrived at by discussion between the game manager and the Boss man?... 39

It does frank.

The Tour will have points, mountains and youth classifications.

Finish line points are not counted in the stage scoring although they do count towards the actual 1st to 5th place points in the classifications as above ie 5 points for the top rider in the standings at the end of the stage.

No....Finish line points won't be counted and it will be the intermediate sprints and the sprints jersey that will be scored

There is no youth rider cat. I have removed it

Points will be based on intermediate sprints and NOT on finish line points. I forgot to put the scoring information in, so I've asked Dave if he can stick it in for me. Sorry about that.

So basically, there will be no points for sprints on the first stage as it is an ITT

I can't find last years results on the official site, so not 100% sure there was a combat award either, but leaving it in to be on the safe side. If they decide to score a young riders this year. I will add that back in. As they have no scoring information or jerseys listed on their site. Lets assume it hasn't changed.

Excuse the ignorance, but does that mean that if there's a break, those folks in it are more liable to get these points? And, does the Tour de France also have more than one 'Points' jersey?

To Dave or Gkam,

"Information on scoring" question again. (Am I the only guy who looks at this?).

Firstly, there are no "scoring notes for this competition" listed. (eg 35,30,25 etc).

Secondly, in the "points competition (Tour)" (ie 5 down to 1), is this for the main points comp or the intermediate sprint comp? Last year you scored the int sprint comp, but I read your "inf on scoring" as implying the main points comp.
And since riders score main comp points in the prolog, this implies that the winning prolog rider will score 35+10+5.

I'm presuming there is no young rider comp as per last year. The inclusion of this category in the "inf on scoring" may lead players to assume there is, and possibly lead to choices biassed towards young riders.

Cheers

That is NOT the startlist, that is what pro cycling thinks is going to be the startlist apart from Sky which has a green tick.

I shall be sticking with this http://www.tourdesuisse.ch/fileadmin/user_upload/News/Fahrerliste__Teams...

Until such times as they release the final startlist. That is their provisional list released on 3rd June

Please be aware that as stage 7 is a time trial around the city of Worb, listed as from Worb - Worb, this may be the most dubstep bike race ever

That sounds like an excellent excuse to take some drugs.

You, sir, are bloody brilliant.

I just had to make the Worb-Worb noise, out loud, at my desk.

Given my chances are all but over in the Dauphine after picking Kwia over Froome and losing 49 points on that one alone, when is Suisse opening please?
