Wiggle Mega Meon Sportive
The stunning Meon Valley with its green country side and quiet lanes provides the back drop for the Mega Meon sportive.
The course winds its way through the Meon Valley up to Alton, crossing the hills of the South Downs.
The Meon Valley during the summer months is one of the finest examples of English patchwork countryside. The route weaves its way through quiet roads with vibrant multi-coloured crop fields either side, before heading south and up the final climb. At the summit you will be rewarded with views of the ‘Solent, Spinnaker Tower and the Isle of Wight’. Simply Breath-taking!
With 3 route options (100 miles, 80 miles and 55 miles), you can choose the amount of fun you can handle.
There are tram lines, so cyclists should be separated from them as they are lethal.
