A ‘Ride to Remember’
The next ride will recognise the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings:
‘The Ride’ will be themed on 70 riders, riding 70 miles a day over 7 days;
‘The Ride’ will start from Cherbourg and follow the D-Day Beaches;
‘The Ride’ will then turn south and head for the Loire Valley and Ligueil;
‘The Ride’ will then head back via Argentan (subject to distances) to Caen;
‘The Ride’ will technically finish at Pegasus Bridge where a reception would be organised;
The last day will culminate in all available riders regrouping at Newbury for a return ride to Hungerford on a Saturday morning, to generally make ‘The Ride’s’ presence known to the community.
