The CFC Sportive will be held on Sunday 29th May starting and finishing from Stratford Racecourse
Choose from 30, 64, 100 and 150 mile routes.
This will be the 5th edition of the event.
The 150 mile ride is a time restricted (12 hour) endurance ride, the event is perfect timing for people going to the L’Etape du Tour, La Marmotte, London to Paris, Dragon ride etc. or for those just looking to push the boundaries.
As in previous years will be having stalls, bike stuff and catering, so whilst you are “enjoying” your ride you can be rest assured that your supporters are being entertained.
Stratford Racecourse is a fantastic venue with camping and all the facilities you could need for this kind of event including free parking, changing area and showers (50p). We start early, The 150 mile ride starts at 7am with a mass start. The 100 and 64 miles start between 8am and 9.30am on a first come first served basis. Finally the 30 mile ride starts at 10am. Registration for all rides will be open at 2pm until 6pm on Saturday 28th May and from 6am to 10am on ride day 24th May at Race HQ at the centre of course Pavillion Stratford Racecourse.
This a chance for us to get exposure for our charity and the work we do children living with cancer that we help every week up and down the UK. There isn’t a fundraising requirement but if your feel your effort is worth a few quid in sponsorship then that would be great, £10, £50, £100 whatever you can raise will make a real difference, all fundraisers will receive a CFC 2016 fundraisers T-Shirt regardless of the amount raised. To see how cycling helps please read some of the stories and case studies on our page.
