More photos have emerged of Cannondale’s new SuperSix Evo Disc, first spotted when ex-pro Ted King accidentally shared photos of the US company’s flagship racing bike equipped with disc brakes on social media.
Cannondale has even alluded to the new bike on social media, posting the following message on its Twitter account this week:
Responsiveness. Compliance. Svelte weight. And now, better speed management, in all conditions. #SSEDisc #SlowFastToGoFast
The same #SlowFastToGoFast hashtag has also appeared on Ted King’s Twitter page accompanied with this photo of him riding what is clearly an Evo with disc brakes.
Ripping down Hawk Hill, my already wicked fast EVO just got faster. #SlowFastToGoFast pic.twitter.com/PxiiEDtHMu

While that photo doesn’t give much away about the new bike, this video does. In it, we can clearly see the Evo Disc has a thru-axle fork and regular quick release rear axle. It’s using Shimano’s Flat Mount disc brake calipers, and cables and hoses appear to be internally routed.
Done some kms on the new #supersixevo @cannondalePro. It's a blast #SlowFastToGoFast @ridecannondale @maviccycling pic.twitter.com/O34Fmh8dkX

Other than that, the Evo Disc appears almost identical to the current Evo, with similar tube shapes and profiles. Knowing Cannondale, there will be a lot of changes under the green paint. Hopefully we’ll get the full story soon.

SRAM and Shimano
The video shows Shimano, but zooming in on the Ted King photo shows SRAM shifters & calipers. Interesting.
