One of the big goals for Wiggle Honda this year will be the team time trial at the World Championships in Tuscany in September, held over a 37.93 kilometre course from Pistoia to Florence, and open only to trade teams.
The team has three riders who are world-beaters when it comes to riding as a unit – Laura Trott, Dani King and Joanna Rowsell, who last year smashed the world record time and time again as they rode to World Championship and Olympic success.
Those victories were achieved by three riders over 3 kilometres on the velodrome track, of course, a very different proposition to more than ten times that distance on the road, and with six team members taking to the start.
In this video from Wiggle Honda’s recent training camp in Italy, the team has been practicing its drills in the team time trial as it looks to succeed last year’s inaugural world champions, Specialized-Lululemon, while Trott and King also talk about adapting to life on the road.

Those helmets look quite
Those helmets look quite good. But after seeing a Bambino in the flesh, I may have been turned.
Nice to see some video of them training, looking like a really good team coming together

Aero helmet + recumbent trike, nice to see the marginal gains philosophy spreading.

I currently use a skate helmet that was given to me to do a sportive. I keep seeing the Air Attack, its just the same thing with a different price tag.
But the Kask Bambino looks great with the visor on it, at my low height, anything to protect my eyes and save me wearing ski googles is an improvement :B
