Members of the Chester Neighbourhood Policing Team are doing their bit to reduce bike thefts at the city’s railway station today (Tuesday).
Cheshire Online reports that the team is hosting a day of action today, to give cyclists free advice.
Sergeant Sean Morgan said: “There has been a recent increase in the number of thefts at the station, but we are determined to limit further opportunities for criminals.
“Our officers will be out and about from 8-10am and 4-6pm to pass on advice to cyclists using the rail network. We will also have a crime reduction advisor on hand to mark frames.”
