The Rapha Pro Team Jersey II is very good – it feels fast, light and performs brilliantly in hot conditions. If you’re considering this Quartz pink colour, be warned: the sleek fit makes it entirely unforgiving for anyone without a racing physique.
Rapha describes this as their most versatile all-round jersey, and having ridden it in a range of conditions, that feels like an accurate description. As the ‘II’ implies, the design has been updated for 2026, and it gets a slimmer cut and longer sleeves.
The main body is 88% recycled polyester and 12% elastane, which gives plenty of stretch while maintaining structure and moving sweat away from the skin quickly. The secondary fabric, used on the sleeves and around the pockets, is an ‘open knit’ blend that focuses more on venting heat, and it’s a lot more see-through than the body.
The fit is noticeably more aggressive than the original, and it sits tighter to your body all over. The sleeves have been extended to match the Pro Team Aero Jersey, too.
The sleeves stay put well, while the rear hem’s elasticated gripper keeps everything in place reliably even with the pockets fully loaded, which on a jersey this fitted is more important than it sounds.
Rapha has also followed the trend of short-fronted cuts, such as those MAAP has been pushing for the last few years. Add all the changes together and the Pro Team II feels like a totally different jersey to the original, especially off the bike.
Rapha recommends this for between 18 to 35°C with a base layer underneath, and in I found it performed well in that range. Open the full-length zip and I can’t imagine too many situations where you would need a cooler jersey, especially in the UK.
The three rear pockets are well-sized and well-positioned, and there’s a zipped essentials pocket for valuables. It’s easy to access too, if not big enough for my 15x7cm iPhone 17, so it’s not as big as it could be.
This ‘Quartz’ colour is basically the classic Rapha pink. It is striking, and I like it… on a clothes hanger. On the bike and specifically on me, it’s a different matter. In pink the very close fit leaves little to the imagination, and if you don’t have the physique of a pro the results can be… challenging. I was roundly mocked by my wife, and probably many other people’s wives, though I feel like several cars gave me a very wide berth. It’s not all bad having the cycling equivalent of a dad bod.
If none of that bothers you or if you have a pro physique, it looks brilliant. Alternatively, there are seven other colours that will attract considerably less attention, though the generally muted tones mean none offer the visibility this one does either.
Value
At £155 this is firmly in premium territory, as you’d expect from Rapha, though you can pay considerably more for similar tops.
The Castelli Aero Race 8S Jersey is £14 more at £169, though that’s good for higher temperatures still. It’s a similarly aggressively cut, and leaves even less to the imagination with its see-through material.
The Q36.5 Dottore Clima Jersey was more at £200 when we reviewed it at the end of last year, and at £250 now (halfway through 2026) it’s seriously more expensive. It offers a similar performance level with excellent temperature regulation, though again it’s pretty see-through thanks to the mesh fabric.
Overall
This is one of the best warm weather jerseys I’ve tested. The 2026 updates to the fit and sleeves make it feel like a new jersey, rather than an incremental change, while breathability is excellent and the storage works exactly as it should. Just think carefully before you order the pink if, like me, you struggle to seem at all like a professional…

This is a very impressive jersey – it breathes and wicks well, fits very comfortably and the change in the cut is significant. It looks as good as a premium-priced jersey should, too, though unless you’re a proper racing snake one of the seven other colours may please you more!
