Gore’s C7 Pro gloves have oodles of feel thanks to a thin but tough palm, while clever construction means they’re built to last. The thin mesh backing means they’re great in warm to moderate weather, but less so when it comes to saving your knuckles.

Thanks to a thin, single layer palm, the C7 Pro gloves give loads of feel at the bar and there’s no bunching up, something also helped by the pre-shaped cut, with boxed-in index and middle fingers to help prevent you going through the ends. They’re also touchscreen compatible and work reasonably well, though with limited sensitivity which is par for the course.

The mesh back also forms the cuff and it’s a really neat design that provides a great secure fit and a complete lack of pressure points or seams to dig into you. The material works well to keep you cool without allowing too much uncomfortable wind chill, though they’re definitely for summer and early autumn rather than the depths of winter. Having a small pull tab also means getting them on and off is easy enough and you get a small velvety snot wipe on the thumb, which does the job well enough.

These are really comfortable but minimal gloves with loads of feel and they’re well made too. If you’re not after much bulk – or protection – for summer riding then they’re recommended.
