Snēk Cycling launches a useful new multifunctional tyre lever, the Lifeboat after a successful Kickstarter campaign. Combining regular tyre levers, plus a valve core and a bottle opener so you can fix any tubeless setup problems on the fly, plus crack open a celebratory beer.

Conversion to a tubeless setup is commonplace nowadays, so being able to top up sealant means finding those lost needle nose pliers or a valve core remover. Snēk Cycling (pronounced ‘sneak’) says they’ve solved this issue with their new tyre lever, the Lifeboat.
Snēk believes that tire levers have been left behind as tubeless tyres developed and tubeless technology has progressed with stronger casings. The Lifeboat is constructed with a metal core surrounded by plastic to keep it ‘bend resistant’ for those super tough tires but stops it from damaging your mega expensive rims. The scoop has a chamfered edge to aid in removing and installing stubborn tires.
The Life Boat is built with a valve core remover in the lever itself, so wherever the lever is the remover is right there when you need it. Of course, it also comes with a bottle opener built into the end so you can sup on a cold one post sealant top up, a cool little addition for anyone packing light on a bikepacking trip too. The tyre lever is available in sets of two and are stackable for easy storage.
