Last year, RockShox unveiled its Flight Attendant tech which took the form of gubbins attached to a fork, shock and crank which communicate together to adjust the suspension’s settings to the demands of the riding conditions on the fly. It took the world by storm, quickly overshadowing similar tech from other brands. Then, it was only available on expensive, complete build bikes… Until now.

Today, RockShox has announced its Flight Attendant upgrade kits, which allow riders with traditional non-fancy suspension to upgrade to the brand’s whizzy self adjusting tech. There are three kits available, catering to those of trail, all-mountain or enduro persuasions with each kit consisting of a fork, shock, and crank or pedal sensor, as well as a couple of batteries and a mudguard.

However, these kits aren’t one size fits all as they’re only compatible with certain Canyon, Specialized, Trek or YT Industries bikes.

The Trail Upgrade Kit is compatible with the Canyon Neuron 29 2021-2022 and is made up of a RockShox Pike Ultimate fork and Super Deluxe shock.

The All Mountain Upgrade Kit can fit a Canyon Spectral 2019-2022, Spectral:ON 2023, and the YT Jeffsy 29″ 2019-2022. This kit features the Lyrik Ultimate fork as well as the Super Deluxe Ultimate shock.

Finally, the Enduro Upgrade Kit is compatible with the Trek Slash 2021-2022, Specialized Enduro 2020-2022, and the YT Capra 29″ 2022. This kit includes the ZEB Ultimate fork and Super Deluxe shock.

As these kits come with absolutely everything to convert your bike to Flight Attendant, it will cost you a few pounds with prices starting at £2,700 and going up to £2,800 for the Enduro Upgrade Kit.
