Just when you think things can’t get any wilder, Red Bull Hardline steps it up a notch. And who better to take a look at this year’s course with than Gee Atherton? He said it himself, “The course is faster and wilder than ever this year!”

Even though the weather was looking good during Gee’s preview, it looks like it didn’t last. Due to a changing forecast, organisers issued a statement about qualifying earlier today:

“Due to the extremely high winds, the decision has been made to cancel tomorrow’s Red Bull Hardline qualifiers. This is to ensure the safety of the riders which is of utmost importance.

As ever the weather conditions in the Dyfi valley are proving to be changeable. We are closely monitoring the situation ahead of the Red Bull Hardline live finals on Sunday, which is currently going ahead as planned.”
