Having launched their new e-MTB and cross-country full-susser in recent weeks, the latest to join the fleet is Giant’s all-new Trance Advanced Pro 29.

So what do you need to know about the new enduro machine? It’s built upon a reengineered composite frameset with adjustable frame geometry and an updated Maestro suspension system to offer 120mm of rear travel and 130mm of front travel.

The adjustability is down to a flip-chip on the Maestro suspension rocker arm, allowing riders to tune handling to suit riding style. The high position is for techy tight singletrack where power efficiency is key. The 66.2-degree head angle coupled with a 35mm bottom bracket drop enables quick handling improved pedal clearance. Whereas the low position is for all-out fast terrain due to the slacker 65.5-degree head angle and 45mm bottom bracket drop.

The frameset features integrated downtube storage. By opening a latch on the downtube, you can store essential items, including an inner tube, CO2 cartridge, tire levers, snacks or a multi-tool, all wrapped in a water-resistant bag.

All frames are engineered with enough space for a water bottle (650ml/21oz) inside the front triangle. They also feature new cable ports with a cleaner look and performance to eliminate cable rattle.
