More summer kit came our way this week in the form of Nukeproof Blackline gear and some e-bike specific shorts from Alpinestars. There’s also a very new dropper post from SGD and grips designed by Ratboy and the 50to01 crew.

Nukeproof Clothing

It might have gone under your radar but Nukeproof now make clothing too and even better still there is a women’s line! We’ve got shorts and jersey in for both sexes and we don’t think this shouts ‘NUKEPROOF’ too loudly either. This is the Blackline range of which the jersey costs £40 and the shorts are £60.

Launched just last month our test post is already here! We’ve got a 150mm version of the new SDG Tellius dropper post in for review, it weighs 576g (not including cable) and has it’s own under bar style lever included too. The post will cost you £219 all in.

Alpine Stars Drop Pro Shorts and Jersey

It appears these are e-bike shorts…. well Apinestars say “With e-bikes now opening up the most difficult of trails, riders need a short that offers more performance and protection. The new Drop Pro Shorts have been specifically developed with strategically positioned PU reinforcements to offer great durability and coverage in high abrasion areas.”  I take from that these are shorts to crash in!

The jersey is for plain old, regular enduro though, no mention of e-bikes there! Whatever bike you ride, this stuff looks pretty cool.

Fabric Magic Grip

The brand new grip from Fabric has been made in conjunction with the 50to01 crew and features a mushroom grip with semi-ergo shape. Fabric says they are soft, long, comfortable and durable….. no innuendo intended we don’t think. They also come in red, blue and green and are a very reasonable £17.
