Couldn't resist making the circular reference
Let google do it for you. Say I wanted to know more about disc brakes, I would put the term "site:road.cc disc brakes" in the search box...
https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q=site:road.cc+disc+brakes
et viola!
..except that searches the whole site, the OP was asking how to only search the road.cc forum. Love to know myself, I haven't seen any way of searching in a sub-section of road.cc, do sub-searches, order searches or any of the more basic search filtering.
You can modify that just to search the forum by amending the road.cc bit of what Argos74 posted. For example, if you just want to search in the forum, you put "site:road.cc/content/forum" then a space then your search term, and the search will be limited to everything in that directory (i.e. the search will be of everything in /forum).
Ah good point - it didn't look consistently laid out under one directory tree when I looked at a couple of links under the forum jump page but most seem to be under road.cc/forums. Cheers.
