Ride and Relax on Roubaix Day!
It’s often been said of the Lincoln Grand Prix that it’s as tough as a Belgian one day classic. And so with this in mind, we’ve brought the Queen of the classics to you.
Velo Days present The Hell of North Lincolnshire: our tribute to the toughest one day event on two wheels.
The day begins with a 100km circuit offering the best and worst tracks in the North of the Shire. Make sure you pack inner tubes and you’re riding 25mm tyres or wider. We’ll look after you but punctures are down to you! You have been warned!!
Between the usual Lincolnshire quality potholed roads, you will find one or two sectors to contend with. These are footpaths and bridleways to challenge you all. The weather can play an important part in the road conditions, so pray for a dry day!
Unfortunately we can’t offer you a victory lap in Roubaix’s velodrome but on your return to Saxilby we can offer you a Belgian welcome. Not only will frites be ready and waiting, so will a bar full of beer and for the drivers, a H-Van all set to prepare the coffee of your choice!
So put your bike away, put your feet up in the hall and prepare for the onslaught of cheering on you heros as they tackle the Road to Roubaix Live on the big screen. We’ll be staying with the action to the very end, so it’ll be an afternoon full of drama fuelled by beers, flat whites, frites and mayonnaise!
Only 200 place available on this event!
With the prison crisis I can reluctantly accept the sentence, but she should have been banned for life!
What annoys me, is that I cannot enter events because I am not a member of the mickey-mouse organisation....
A gentleman does not ride a 1x. For instance, can you imagine James Bond, Christopher Lee's Dracula or Raffles the "gentleman thief" riding a 1x?...
I think you could easily pass these offences to the councils (like other parking offences) and just fine them. It is the councils that are losing...
Part the second ...
Another pathetic sentence for killing a cyclist....
You sound like the PR for hookless wheels. ...
...and maybe a third? Don't forget the M49 'ghost' junction: https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-news/work-m49-ghost-junction-...
You could argue that either way but it seems reasonable to call it two separate incidents, he was assaulted, went home, later went back to the...
