After a rather long hiatus, it’s time to revive the big road.cc Rideout! If you’re a road.cc reader or just fancy a nice day out with your fellow cyclists, riders of all abilities are very welcome to join us for a ride and refreshments on Friday 3rd July 2026, from 10am outside our offices in Bath.
Reserve your free space on the 2026 road.cc Rideout now

There is no charge for the road.cc Rideout, as this event is a chance for us to give back to our readers, and get to know you all a little better beyond our inbox and lively comments section on the website. It also gives you the chance to get to know the people who make road.cc happen, all while enjoying a great ride around the hills of Somerset and Wiltshire (hopefully with great weather).
Kicking off from 10am, the ride will depart shortly after the meet time, and be around two hours long. We’ll cater for all abilities, which may mean multiple groups with a shorter route and ride times for some of those groups. All you need is a bike that’s in good condition and your riding kit.
There will be post-ride refreshments for those who can stay a little longer, and there may also be special guests from our industry partners. The Rideout also takes place the day before the Tour de France departs, so yellow bikes or accessories appreciated!
Where to find us and how to get here

The Rideout will depart from road.cc’s Bath office, based in historic Green Park Station – postcode BA1 1JB. It’s a short walk or cycle from Bath Spa train station, and the closest long-stay car park is Green Park Road (BA1 1UT). Our office is located behind Green Park Brasserie, inside the station – simply walk your bike into the station, and members of the team will be there to greet you before we start.
Spaces are limited, so be sure to book on in plenty of time, and we’ll see you all at 10am on Friday 3rd July. In the meantime, ride safe!

While I’m brassed off that this is just in time for my orthopaedic surgery I hope you all have a blast.
No surgery here, but Google is telling me I’d have to leave before 4am to get there for 10, and then my legs would probably be too shot to keep up with even the mellowest group, so it’s going to be a pass.
Hopefully in years to come, the regional rideouts can happen again. I had a great time when it was last in Sheffield.
