    Orica didn’t send a sprinter

Orica didn’t send a sprinter to the TdF last year either.

Looking at the teams for 2018 things don’t seem to have changed that much in terms of sprinters.

The main difference due to 8 man teams is probably reduced sprint trains for some.

    I’m guessing he got bored

I’m guessing he got bored riding around on meaningless laps of Rome and struck out in a red rage at the pointless stupidity of the last stage.

    Damnation.

    Damnation.

Stage 6 started a lot earlier than the other stages and I missed my transfers 🙂

Left with Philipsen, Sagan, Walscheid, Cavendish & Ewan for a mountain stage.

I was waiting to see if Walscheid was a non-starter.

I swapped out George Bennet &

I swapped out George Bennet & Bilbao for Wellens and Battaglin with a view to the next 3 stages.

I was tempted to bring a couple of sprinters in but decided to err on the side of caution.

    Hopefully it paid off. 🙂

Sorry that was for Stage 10

Maybe some confusion with riders crossing the finish line a lap down.

    Yes that makes sense.

Wallays finsishing the race a few seconds down on Van Aert,  whileGilbert an the others have another lap to go.

I’m not sure the official results for Paris Roubaix are correct.

Watching the finish I have –

    Van Aert 13th

    Degenkolb 14th

    Gilbert 15th

    Jansen 16th

    Haussler 17th

    Van Baarle 18th

    Marcato 19th

    Wallays 20th

Unless the riders swapped jerseys during the race.

Shame that people missed the deadline.

The player leading the purist competition has missed out and has dropped out of contention.

Not the best way to win it. 🙁

    Personally I think  young

Personally I think  young rider points make competitions more interesting as it adds another level of complexity to the game.

So I would vote for including this for the Vuelta
