To see its flat-mate?
To see its flat-mate?
I met a double decker bus on my Sunday ride, out on one of our lovely tree-lined OS yellow roads, where no bus has run in decades and probably not ever a double decker. Wedding reception, was my best guess. At least the height of a bridge is known, overhanging trees, not so much.

Joking apart, I’ve reached the stuffing paper down my front stage a couple of times as it often drops a couple of degrees on my two fave routes.

Local news account of what
Local news account of what sounds like this 3 hour session, catching speeders at practically one a minute, as fast, I imagine as as you can cycle the speed gun.
“Of the vehicles caught exceeding the speed limit, 149 drivers will be offered a speed awareness course, and 22 will be given a £100 fine and three penalty points.
Three drivers who exceeded 50mph will be reported to court.”
Drivers won’t want to understand this, but the £2k fines revenues, if they were to go to the police would just about cover the cost of doing the exercise, topped-up if the 50+ mph-ers are convicted in like 2023.

Going out of their way not to
Going out of their way not to involve a driver: “The incident happened on the evening of Monday, April 25, when the car became embedded in the house at Clarimalt Drive in Kirkcaldy.”
And we’re a bit confused about when it actually happened:
“Police have confirmed that they are investigating the crash, which occurred at around 8.30am, and thankfully resulted in no injuries”

“Keen cyclist” name of Percy
“Keen cyclist” name of Percy located in Exeter
This could be Exeter’s most notorious bollard
The bollard has been damaged again recently which has become a regular sight for cyclist and former Exeter councillor Percy Prowse on his way home. He is calling for the bollard to be removed to save taxpayers money.
“The council does not need to hold a public consultation the remove the bollard. Just take it away because it doesn’t stop people turning left as they do it all the time and it will save lots of money.”

The links to previous stories are like Russian dolls. Words below and picture are from one of the earlier episodes:
“so he has smashed straight into my silver car, in the process hitting my mum’s orange Toyota and my car has gone flying into the garden at 180, and he’s carried on to then hit our wall and the cesspit.” No shit, huh?
