    Yeah…. finally a GT.

Should be interesting. Not the strongest line up we’ll ever see but that might be a great chance for the under card….

    Good decision. We had
Good decision. We had identical teams today. I nearly dropped Ciccone, but wasn’t sure. So often doing nothing is the right course of action. On this occasion that worked out

    Keeping Bouwman. Form says
Keeping Bouwman. Form says drop Ciccone. I’m keeping Ciccone too in case he has three weetabix again especially for the last climbing stage.

Bouwman is a bit of a head

Bouwman is a bit of a head mash tomorrow. The KOM sewn up but, regardless of where he is, will likely be saluted by right of way across the CC… or will he?

    I think i’ll keep him.

    Mmmm… These finishes might

Mmmm… These finishes might have benefitted with (a fit) Yates, MAL and Bardet still in the race…  Carapaz, Hindley and Landa just too good for the rest.

    Very possibly the most

Very possibly the most needless miscalculation i’ve seen in years. Rubbish.

So yes, saw it in time but

So yes, saw it in time but AFTER I’d made my original 2 sprinter transfers.  So added an extra sprinter.  If no more big surprises, might be OK.

I was choosing between 2 and

I was choosing between 2 and 3 sprinters last night.  I decided to go for 2 to give me flexibility and a couple of back up transfers for the remaining stages.  Saw the Almeida news after that, so have gone for 3 sprinters today instead. Wasn’t tight, but will be now.

The biggest effect will be not enough TT specialists with no Almeida in team for the final stage.  Hope there aren’t too many more COVID drop-outs.

    Anybody get the Almeida new

Anybody get the Almeida news in time?  Might mess up a few transfer strategies if people are tight for the final few stages.

I would have had different sprinters if I had known.

    I’m getting increasingly

I’m getting increasingly irritated by the editing of the giro coverage.  Almost no sight of what is happening in the GC group.

Bouwman is still my pick of

Bouwman is still my pick of the Giro, I did say we would see more of him in this Giro.

I reckon if Bouwman works on

I reckon if Bouwman works on his endurance/recovery, there’s a classification rider in there.

    I dropped Kamna for Nibali.

I dropped Kamna for Nibali.  Doh.

I assumed Bora might actually concentrate on winning the giro for Hindley.  Their dumb ass tactics cost me points.  How rude. yes

I think i’d better revise my

I think i’d better revise my opinion of Bouwman as a climber. I thought he might fold today with the quality available to go in the breaks… so did Bouwman > Nibali. Doh.
