Not me, didn’t even consider him yestyerday. Happy I’ve kept Alaphilippe though He’s expensive but I tend to find keeping the expensive guys in rewards you.

Not me. Wellens has confused matters. Looks like they’e on a two pronged attack for KOM.

Will Wellens now go tomorrow ?

If the sun shines Wellens will struggle to make much hay, he really suffers in hot weather.

The HC climbs will determine who wins the KoM jersey, they are all over 2000m and score double points, 40 pts compared to 10 for a Cat1.

Ciccone seems to be a bit greedy, he wanted all the KoM points and the stage win. Could he have beaten Teuns if he had saved energy?

Yeah…I remember you saying he doesn’t like it hot,

I have no doubt the KOM jersey will be settled in the high mountains but some of these riders and teams/sponsors like to spin out the ownership of jerseys for as long as possible. TDG and Wellens protecting that jersey together was testament to that…maybe…Ciccone may well be a keeper for the second half of the tour.

    Weee…got an internet

Weee…got an internet connection for an hour or two on my hols…

Funny old game this is. I took out a Alaphillipe yesterday much to my horror after checking the result….just seen the replay and he was outstanding. It seemed like a good gamble that he would slide on that climb with most keeping him…a bit of a balls out transfer that went wrong. I checked Tony’s team to see he made the same “mistake” and felt a lot better about it knowing that he did indeed take the gamble. …at least if Tony did the same I know there was some merit in it…even if it went wrong.

Minardi probably smartest just sitting on his hands.

I did 5 and 5, but I got Pinot and Thomas so didn’t do too badly. My team will likely stay more or less the same over the next few days. I’ll swap out a few sprinters for the weekend though and get them back for stages 10 and 11.

Off to France for a week tomorrow so I won’t be following closely either.

Need to do well to bring my season back on track.
