Cube has told customers to stop riding its 2025 and 2026 Agree C:62 road bikes, issuing a recall following a number of reports of forks delaminating and cracking.

In a statement published on Wednesday afternoon, the brand said riders must stop using the affected models with immediate effect and all forks will need to be checked and affected forks replaced.

Cube said the recall came following “a small number of reported cases of cracks forming above the brake mount” on the latest versions of the Agree C:62’s carbon forks.

The bike brand says this was, it has been established, caused by a change to the resin material and some forks now have insufficient resin content in the area.

“The forks affected by this issue do not adequately meet our own quality standards in the event of excessive braking force,” Cube said.

It has been reported that the carbon fork can delaminate and crack, with Cube suggesting in extreme cases the fork could fail completely, clearly raising serious concerns about crashes.

“The use of bikes affected by this recall must stop immediately and without exception until the fork has been checked and affected forks replaced. For safety reasons, every fork covered by this issue must be replaced,” the statement published this afternoon continued.

The recall covers all CUBE Agree C:62 models in all frame sizes from the 2025 model year and all those from the 2026 model year that were delivered and sold prior to 30 November 2025:

Cube has set up a recall page on its website where customers can enter their frame number (WOW number) to check if their model is included. There is also a serial number on bikes’ forks which will, on affected forks, be found on the steerer tube, so will require removing the headset to access it.

“This work should only be done by a bike professional,” Cube’s statement concluded. “The final inspection, the replacement and all steps of processing must be carried out by an authorised CUBE dealer.

“We are working at full speed to provide replacement forks. The first replacements are expected to be available from the beginning of februay 2026. This will be followed at regular intervals by further deliveries until the recall is complete.”
