Video: Six of the best disc brake road bikes 2018 from Bianchi, De Rosa, Colnago, Scott, Wilier and Ridley

Six super fast bikes that will stop on a six pence

Disc brakes are all the rage in the road cycling world at the moment, and it wasn't hard to spot six new disc-equipped road bikes at the recent Eurobike bike show. The six bikes here - from Bianchi, Wilier, De Rosa, Colnago, Ridley and Colnago - are the newest bikes to be launched and represent the pinnacle of road bike technology

It's hard to ignore the rise of disc brakes and whether you like them or not, discs are here to stay Fear not, most of these bikes are still available without disc brakes, but if you want a fast road bike with great brakes, these might just make it onto your shortlist.
