Nopinz Souplesse Bib Shorts

The Souplesse bib shorts feature an extremely comfortable Elastic-Interface chamois, excellent build quality, performance focussed fit and low-profile bib straps that are easy to forget are even there. They're also cheaper than much of their competition.

Any good pair of bib-shorts needs a good chamois and with the Soupless this is the star of the show. Stu did find the padding on the firm side but found that this really worked well, compressing enough to soak up the road vibrations, but keeping the rider suspended above the saddle to prevent bunching of material or hot spots.

The fit is definitely performance focussed with a compressive multipanel design but not so much that they felt restrictive whether drilling it in the drops or relaxing up a climb. The bib straps are laser cut and very lightweight so they don't look amiss under an aero jersey or cause discomfort on the shoulders.

£119.99 might still be a lot of money for a set of bib shorts, but when considering the overall build quality and materials used they're very competitive.
