Christmas is here again, so our annual festive comp is back for another lap. If you’re not familiar, well instead of us telling you/bragging about what we’ve got in for review like our regular Five Cool Things slot, here we give you the chance to tell us what cycling-related gifts you received for Christmas. Comment below to show us, email us at info@road.cc or comment under the social media posts before midnight on Boxing Day, and our top five will win a prize.

The judging criteria is loose and at our discretion as usual, and when we say quality, amusing gifts count too (just perhaps steer clear of submitting anything that appeared on our what not to get cyclists for Christmas list).
Winning entries from previous years include a Campagnolo Tin Plate Shield, an ‘Evil Cycling Lobby’ hoodie, tasteful cycling art prints, tools, chain waxing kits and everyone’s favourite Christmas present, road.cc socks. Try to tell us a bit of backstory behind your gift if there is one to increase your chances of being among the winners.

As mentioned already, you can send us your submissions in a number of ways: in the comments section underneath this article, via our Facebook, BlueSky or Instagram pages, or by emailing info@road.cc. We’ll be judging over Christmas and Boxing Day (deadline for entries is 11:59pm on December 29th), and a new article announcing the winners will appear on the 30th.
If you’re a winner, you will receive a message of congratulations and a request for a delivery address. We’ll post the prizes in January when our NYE hangovers have settled. That prize will likely be a road.cc t-shirt and some of our famous Stay Awesome stickers, but with stock running low it may be another useful thing (it’ll be useful, promise).
Best of luck folks!

I don’t really want for anything, but my family are big on giving presents. So last year, I paused buying things I otherwise would have, and from summer to Christmas, I had a few things on my list I genuinely wanted: a new multitool, a posh chain checker, a good cassette removal tool.
Did anyone buy anything from my list (a list they’d been asking for)? Of course not. “They’re not proper presents”.

Here you go chaps. Something I can say with some degree of confidence that nobody else will have.
This came through a very tenuous link through the company I work for. I had noticed a very small logo on the shirt which linked to the industry I work in. A quiet word with the manager and he fired off an email. Many months went by and he heard nothing, it became a joke that if it ever materialised it could be my Christmas gift. And it has finally turned up, with my intial request if it could be signed fulfilled.
Managed to get it framed before the big day too.
I’m trying to ID the autographs. I’m pretty sure I have Laurens Sweeck, Sanne Cant, Marion Norbert Riberolle, Manon Bakker and Inge Van Der Heijden. I’m wondering if the last one could be Emil Verstrynge.
Merry Christmas to all.
